Charade is from Bill Spice's debut ep Maiden Voyage. You can stream the album or buy on Bandcamp. The animation was initially inspired by the cover of Bill's album of the Forth Rail bridge and Phee the sailor cat from my picturebook A Tail Tall Tale.

Instead of being whisked off in a UFO to the Sphinx in Egypt in the story, I combined it with another story of sci-fi cat Pip Pop from my forthcoming animation series Cat Dads In Outer Space.

Bill had let me use a track for the Clyde City Cafe disco scene at the end of Cad Dads In Outer Space where Pip Pop joins the humans in a dance. I painted a series called Dancing With Cats which became the storyboards for this animation.
